A total of 184 Eskwelahanan (Eskwelahan sa Tahanan) or Home Learning Spaces kits were distributed today by the Schools Division Office of Imus City to its 26 public elementary schools to benefit select Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners.

The kit for Kindergarten and Grade 1 includes a table, chair, rechargeable lamp, pocket WiFi, storage box and school supplies funded by the External Partnerships Service of the Central Office, while the kit for Grades 2 and 3 include the armchair donated by Bear Brand and school supplies funded from the Program Support Fund for Partnerships and Linkages.

The Home Learning Spaces Program is an offshoot of Brigada Eskwela that aims to bring together education partners and experts to help all learners and their families create a quality and conducive learning space at home.

It is also in line with the Department's Sulong EduKalidad and programs on literacy such as Bawat Bata Bumabasa and Brigada Pagbasa.
