To make things light, the EPS-PPRD also revealed during her session that she could conduct five (5) researches at the same time and disclosed “that’s the secret why I am slim.”

Respected panel members namely Arch. Daisy Palattao, in charge of Intellectual Property Right (IPR) of De La Salle University- Dasmariñas’ University Research Office (URO); Dr. Lualhati O. Cadavedo, Schools Division Research Committee (SDRC) Chairman/Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; and Dr. Josephine P. Canlas, Division EPS in Mathematics and SDRC member, gave feedback on the proposal and research outputs of 10 oral presenters during the conference.

Ten poster presenters, on the other hand, showcased their poster outputs while participants were given time for the gallery walk to check researches that interest them.

Majority of the proposals and completed research outputs were aligned to teaching and learning agenda of the Department of Education—an evidence that teacher-researchers focused on improving the quality of education that they are delivering to their students and on improving relevant policies and processes.

Matea Alvyn H. Trinidad, team leader of the Division’s Research Enthusiasts, Advocates and Mentors (DREAM) Team, said that all researches and proposals during the 3rd CReATE will be submitted for approval to the forthcoming International Conference of Basic Education Researchers (ICBER) which will be held at the Philippine International Convention Center from December 4-6.

Trinidad also encouraged teacher-researches to submit more researches since the ICBER is a very good avenue to share scholarly works.

Another highlight of the 3rdCReATE is the launching of the inaugural issue of the I DREAM Research Journal which featured nine (9) researches from the Division.

The I DREAm Research Journal is the official peer-reviewed academic journal of the Schools Division of Imus City published biannually.

The publication is a compendium of interdisciplinary academic and research works of the different fields of specialization in the Schools Division of Imus City.

CReATE is a product of the Division’s Research Enthusiasts, Advocates and Mentors (DREAM) Team creative effort in collaboration with the SDRC, with OIC-SDS Dr. Editha M. Atendido as adviser.

It can be recalled that the 1st CReATE which featured 12 oral presenters was held at the SDO Conference Room while the 2nd CReATE with 17 oral presenters was held at Del Pilar Academy Audio Visual Room on March 17 and July 5 and 7 of last year, respectively.
