It is high time for research to be a feasible solution in addressing empirical issues and challenges facing the field of education today, the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Imus City stressed.

In his message during the 2019 Research Advocacy for Community Empowerment (RACE), ASDS Galileo L. Go pointed out some apparent issues in raising the learners’ achievement rate and improving access to education.

He also called for the researchers’ intention to help improve the quality of education in the division through their works.

“Mangyayari lamang ang ating minimithi na makatulong ang ating mga research sa quality, access, at governance kung clear ang intention sa ating research,” Go said.

Meanwhile, OIC-SGOD Chief Gregorio A. Co Jr. emphasized that the purpose of the event is to create a culture of research in a friendly yet competitive environment.

After the formal opening of the exhibition, researchers went to their respective posts and were given time to further explain their work to other participants.

In total, 14 researches for competition were presented and 50 posters for exhibition were installed.

RACE 2019 is an attempt to be recorded as the biggest simultaneous research convention in the Philippines.

In Imus City, it was held at Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo National High School on February 28.
